Halloween Pet Portraits
October 31 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm| $30.00
In partnership with Just Walk, join us for a Halloween pet portrait in your pup’s favorite place! Options for portraits include either dog or family style. Plan to dress up in your favorite costume! We will have some costume options available for your pet as well as seasonally spooky backgrounds and decorations.
Portraits will take place on the 9/11 Memorial Path under the cherry trees near the Sousa family plot. This event will take place while the Cemetery is closed to off-leash dogs. This is the family gravesite visit time, so please be respectful and follow the signage to keep your dog on-leash to and from the portrait site.
Just Walk is a worker-owned business providing dog walking services in Washington D.C. We have been photographing our pet pals since 2011. You can check out our daily pictures on Instagram @justwalkdilps or on our website justwalkdcportraits.visualsociety.com
The K9 Corps at Historic Congressional Cemetery is private dog-walking program, bringing life, community, and volunteerism to this extraordinary burial ground. A portion of the sitting fee will benefit Historic Congressional Cemetery.
Masks are mandatory when passing in and out of the main gate and we are following the Guidelines of the Government of the District of Columbia which state ‘people must still wear face coverings in public, practice social distancing, and practice good hygiene.’”
