At Congressional Cemetery, we want to invite the public to rest, rejuvenate, and practice yoga in a unique environment with Rest In Poses Yoga Class.
The class is Vinyasa style flow, beginner friendly, and will be taught by Jennifer Carpenter (Jenuine Yogi). She has taught pop-up classes for 8 years, most benefiting local nonprofits in the Frederick area.
Participants should check in with the instructor and gather at the front gate of the cemetery located at the corner of E St. and Potomac Ave using the address 1801 E St SE. Your instructor will lead the students to the location for class. If you arrive after 11 AM you will miss the group heading to the practice location. The class is BYOM (bring your own mat)!
This class is outdoors and weather dependent. We will cancel in the event of rain. Notification of cancellation will happen by 9 AM the morning of class.
