Please join Neighbors for Justice for a FREE screening of the short documentary “Redemption,” followed by a discussion unpacking the unique challenges faced by returning citizens and the landscape of criminal justice reform in the District. The post-screening discussion will include the film’s subjects, Anthony Petty and James Carpenter (core team members of Neighbors for Justice), as well as the filmmaker Pam Bailey of More Than Our Crimes.

The gates open at 7:30 and the film screening will begin around 8:30. Please be prepared with blankets, chairs, and other items to comfortably sit on the cemetery grounds. Smoking at the event is prohibited and there are no dogs, outside of service animals, allowed to attend.
