In partnership with Just Walk, join us for a Holiday pet portrait event in your pup’s favorite place! Options for portraits include either dog or family style. Plan to dress up in your favorite costume! We will have some costume options available for your pet as well as seasonally cheery backgrounds and decorations.

Portraits will take place between the Chapel and the Sousa family plot. Register for tickets here!

The cemetery will remain open to the public and dog walkers. There will be a Yappy Hour and a Holiday Pop Up Gift Shop held in conjunction with the event.

The K9 Corps at Historic Congressional Cemetery is private dog-walking program, bringing life, community, and volunteerism to this extraordinary burial ground. A portion of the sitting fee will benefit Historic Congressional Cemetery.

When will the event take place? 

The pop up pet portrait will take place Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 11a-3pm. Tickets are sold in timed slots. Please arrive on time!

Do I have to be a member to go?

No, this event is open to the public and their well socialized dogs.

How will this work? 

Sign up for an available time slot. The pop up studio will be outdoors. You will be emailed a link to view your photos and order prints.

What camera is being used?

A Canon 2000D Rebel T7.
