OUR ACTIVITY THIS WEEK from 11am-noon: How does a cemetery connect the living and the dead? We are welcoming Sharon Metcalf, the creator of the Circle of Life path at Congressional Cemetery the day before the official dedication which will feature Batala – an all-women Afro-Brazilian band playing samba reggae music.

FROM 11am to noon we will visit the site at Congressional where Circle of Life has been created, meet Sharon, and hear about how this special space relates to Congressional’s location, green burial, conservation, community, and memorialization. Also: there may be bread. Very good bread. Seriously good bread.

We are so pleased you can join us for this week’s Death Doula Day at Congressional Cemetery! RSVP is appreciated but not required to attend.

For more dates and activities check the HCC website and we invite you to sign up for our mailing list: Death Doula Days at HCC
