Discover where the bones are buried in a Fido-friendly tour of Congressional Cemetery by one of our expert docents. This variation of our introductory tour highlights a selection of some of our notable residents, many of whom were devoted to dogs and pets. You’ll learn about the origin of our celebrated K9 Corps and its vital role in the cemetery’s transformation from endangered historic site to national historic landmark.  True to its name, the “Unleashed” tour goes for its walk when the grounds are open to members of our off-leash dog walking program. You may also bring your own furry friend on this tour if you are a K9 Corps Member or if you purchase a day pass in addition to your ticket.

Please come prepared with comfortable clothing and shoes, as the tours often stray from the main paths.

Reservations are required. $5 donation per person. Tours are rain or shine and visitors may meet docents at the front gate.
