The one thing we cannot do for ourselves is take care of our body after we’ve died.

But that shouldn’t keep us control freaks from telling others what to do! What can you do with a dead human? How soon do you need to do it? What are the options and prices?

Come plan your body’s journey after you have left it behind!

This will be a participatory activity using a tabletop game we have created to design our own body’s journey after death. Along the way, learn about ideas like building coral reefs or making jewelry from remains.

Learn about ways to donate your body to science, freeze it for posterity, and the options for cremation (fire or water) or composting. Understand the difference between green burial and other burials. Curious about embalming? CO2 impact? The financial aspects of what happens to our remains?

Join us at 10 AM, September for a FREE workshop and death awareness activity at Congressional Cemetery.
