SUMMARY:Death Doula Days
DESCRIPTION:This Saturday’s topic is: Telling our life stories visually (special guest Mary Jo Neil\, Visual Scribe) \nOur special drop-in guest will be Mary Jo Neil\, a “visual scribe” who creates people’s stories and life reviews as graphic images. As always when we have a special guest for Q&A this is from 10:30am to 11:30am. You are welcome\, of course\, to arrive or leave any time during Death Doula Day office hours 10am until noon. \nWhat does a visual scribe do\, and what does it have to do with death and dying? We have questions and Mary Jo will have answers and show and tell! If you want a preview\, check out this website: VEOLI for examples of visual obituaries\, life reviews\, and other ways to “visualize end of life issues.” \nAll are welcome. In fact\, bring a family member or friend! Do rsvp so we can have enough chairs and snacks prepared. \nThe conference room is\, cosy\, so please do rsvp by clicking HERE. \nWHAT ARE DEATH DOULA DAYS? \nDeath Doula Days on Saturdays 10am-noon at Congressional Cemetery. Free event\, no experience necessary\, donations to support Congressional Cemetery’s work warmly welcome. \nStay up to date on the project and get notice of upcoming topics by joining our Death Doula Day mailing list HERE.
